I started working on paper from Engraving, which is my training within the National School of Fine Arts.
So I was able to know it in all its varieties, I learned to create it from the most diverse materials, to shape and print it. I use paper in all its forms in my works, kneading its pulp with Papel Mache techniques, sculpting it with Cartapesta
I use recycled foam as the basis of my works.
I adapt the nooks and crannies of the electrical appliance structures or I stalk them in search of new shapes.
I am also a Mathematics Teacher, a specialist in its Didactics for 30 years.
Lover of the beauty of Science in all its forms, I try to gather artistic images of Mathematics in my works, but with a didactic intention as well.
My works inspired by the concept of Infinity, since it is so surprising to me within my field. I present it from its numerical point of view with my works of Pi or the Golden number, Phi ρ, which is the pattern behind the design and distribution of flower petals, in the mazes of snails and algae and in countless examples of the nature
The symbol of infinity, Lemniscus represents the continuous cycle of life and time, the cyclical nature of things. It reminds us that everything is in evolution and change, in constant motion.
ART CRITICS
The art of Lorena Pavesi refers us to the constant metamorphosis of the nature, there where the elements start to shape the pieces that refer to her, such as a pretext of redemption, as an introspective tribute; the creations of reference are unique compositions, of original own concepts that come from individual materials, combined in a single piece: a resignification, finally, of the waste in the in the artistic process.
In the artist stands out a sensitive look, perceptive, liberating, full of versatility, where the technique of letterhead and recycled materials provide the independency to portray her feelings and emotions, without being subject to a “traditional” technical border that limits her creative freedom.
In these three pieces exists a common denominator that revolves around the symbiosis between art and the environmental issues – conceived as a binomial convergent with the sustainability- without conceptual or material limits; an amalgam that gets works where the transmitted narrative, in occasions, verges on melancholy however, it is still worthy of being tasted.

Critic- Art
The artist Lorena Pavesi, in the mark of the P. 3R, is a creator of three-dimensional pieces that overflow of imagination.
These works, of sustainable art, are cared under reliefs, of production of methods of construction and modeling, of a wide spiritual and symbolic development. To re -signify making pieces that most people consider “garbage” and to arrive to these works so beautifully made, with an important quality of production, is also to underline the concept that “everything is possible”. All the details and assemblies made are cared and that it speaks to us about a way of proceeding in life. Interventions in others materials seem to emerge from the essence of the achieved three dimensionalities.
The reducing, recycling and reutilizing, pillars of the project 3 R, don’t need extra hearts, the love to the planet is expressed in all of this roundness of the world, its journeys and textures. Symbols, written formulas, numbers… in a dance with nature form harmonic compositions creating loving deliveries. Threads, cuts, badges forming an orgy of expression with fishes, birds, flowers, leaves and marine fauna flattened in dynamic compositions that have fun and freely dialogue in spaces where there is neither the beginning nor the end.
To observe the works of Lorena Pavesi is to go inside of the magic to conceive worlds where everything works. Carrying this concept from the point of departure of the works based in waste and to arrive to beauty poses a hope through art.
