Profile

Using a pseudonym like “will of color”.

I am generally inspired by the female human figure, it is presented in my paintings as indefinite bodies, annulled, without continuity, indeterminate. In one part of them, the botanical is born accompanied by backgrounds full of colors, scattered throughout the work in abstract ways.

The protagonists express a state of introspection with dull, closed, empty eyes, hidden in a bouquet of flowers, as if they did not want to show themselves at all.

The discontinuity of these figures represents existential emptiness, hopelessness, procrastination, abandonment, the acute feeling of loneliness and emotional disorders.

Within this world of null bodies, freedom, hope, empathy, belief spring up, thus beginning the healing process. The botanical, the circular, the dripping, the colorful emerge, a space is generated where emotion does not come to harm but to liberate and harmonize the being.

What I seek to contribute with my works is that those who observe them, ask themselves questions: Where do you find yourself with respect to your state of mind? In a null body? In a regenerating body? Or budding and healing color?
