Marta Bonjour was born on August 18, 1948 in Pigüé, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
From an early age she attended different workshops and art schools in her hometown, in Bahía Blanca and in Buenos Aires.
More than three decades ago his paintings began to travel around exhibition centres in the country and the world.
Parallel to the construction of his work, he has been illustrating books and murals, and coordinating experimental workshops of plastic arts, such as the outstanding work in the Hospital of Pigüé.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous places in Argentina, Uruguay, United States, Canada, France, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, the Principality of Monaco, obtaining prizes and mentions that have given her international prestige. She has been invited to exhibit in important art centres such as the Florence Biennial - Italy, the Izmir Biennial - Turkey, and Trevisan International Art, in Ferrara - Italy.
The critics César Magrini, Rosa Faccaro, Julio Sapollnik, Daniel Pérez, Silvia Pellegrini, Mara de Giovanni, Cecilia Arthagnan, Francisco Arroyo Ceballos, among others, have spoken about her artistic work.
His works can be found in the book collection of Ediciones Institucionales, and in the Golden Book published in 2007 by this publishing group. They can also be seen on the World Art Foundation website.
