Profile

"Working on text and textile has been a constant theme in my work for some years now. As an artist and as a social psychologist, the message... that text that will become textile..., is the axis of my creations. From a space where the real and the symbolic meet, the design has for me an important mission: to question whoever observes it...so that he can resonate with it...and connect, in some way with his inner world...with his particular and unique story;

I understand the interaction between artist and viewer as a magical meeting of subjectivities;

The intentionality of the message is always present in each of my works.

My passion for tapestry led me to perfect myself in this art and to found the Sapikuna loom workshop in 2010, from where I focus on teaching, enhancing and rescuing textile art in the region". Marisa
