Profile
My name is Laura Adriana Galante, I was born on September 30 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Since I was little I was linked to art, taking drawing and painting classes. Later, my profession, Early Childhood Education Teacher, gave me the opportunity to transmit this sensitivity to my young students through play.
I encouraged artistic expression in children, promoting love for art in all its expressions.
As time went by, I took classes and participated in workshops with great and renowned artists where I trained and nourished my creativity and knowledge.
Paint, stains, washes and fluids are my great driving force today. I move between them, varying palettes, going from monochromatic to warm and cold. It fills me with energy both to make an abstract and to observe the sea for hours, studying the movement of the waves, those magical skies and the coming and going of the foam on the shore to end up capturing it in different media.
Painting today is my ground wire, my feeling, my need for expression.
With oils, acrylics, watercolors, inks and the magic of asphalt paint, I achieve in my productions a consequence of my meaning.
The colors speak, express, mutate on the canvas, leaving information, they transport you to a special place that is enriched and completed with the viewer's gaze.
In my works you will find what I am passionate about, the sea, lighthouses and sailboats, which transport me to my place in the world. And the abstract ones that reflect my imprint, my expression.
Self-manager and self-taught, always searching for my restless soul.
My works have my active, expressionist and varied essence.
The path taken in the art world gave me the experience and knowledge that allowed me to participate in various art shows and exhibitions, among others:
