Katy Bainotti (Córdoba, 1968) is a visual artist, based in the city of Jesús María, Province of Córdoba.
Her artistic development was born out of a personal desire that led her to take her first steps in art since 2014. Self-taught and in non-formal spaces such as artists' workshops, who with their variety of techniques encouraged her to build her creative identity.
Through experimentation and manipulation of various materials, she highlights the reusable elements which, supported by abstraction, in the choice of colour palette and the investigation of textures, she manages to create artistic pieces from painting, sculpture, relief on the plane and ceramics.
With her works he invites the imagination, intuition, to live an experience and to be able to find that understanding beyond logic; to transcend the plastic representation that is seen and to be able to enjoy what is suggestive, what is insinuating for each spectator.
