Juan Ignacio Valenzuela was born in the city of Bahía Blanca, graduated from the Escuela Superior de Artes Visuales, Lino Enea Spilimbergo.
He participated in dozens of individual and collective exhibitions at regional, national and international level.
He was able to obtain several awards in exhibitions, including first prizes in the regional exhibitions of the Bolsa de Comercio, Salón de Artes Plásticas Solvay Indupa, Salón de pequeño formato, Asociación Artistas del Sur, Salón de Artes Visuales del Bahía Plaza Shoping.
In 2015 he is accepted in the Salón Nacional Manuel Belgrano, 2016 he obtains a special mention in the Fería Internacional "Directo del Artista", in the Centro Cultural Borges.
In 2017 he made a solo exhibition called "Allegory" whose project after being exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in the city of Bahia Blanca, was selected to be exhibited at the Argentine Embassy in Paris during the month of October 2019, on the same date, is selected to be part of the group exhibition in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Gallery of samples of the Argentine Embassy in Paris, sharing the room with Julio Leparc and Antonio Segui, among other Argentine artists internationally recognized.
He recently won the first prize in the sculpture section of the Biennial Salon of the city of Bahía Blanca.
