Jimena Laso, Chilean artist and photographer living in Buenos Aires for 20 years.
My artistic beginnings were at the age of 10 when a school teacher realised that I had skills.
My love for art and the support of my family was fundamental for the development of my work and my professionalism as a visual artist, doing since that age different courses and workshops of painting and photography.
At the age of 18 I started a degree in visual arts at ARCIS University of ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES, specializing in graphic arts.
Then in 2007 I migrated to Buenos Aires to continue studying a postgraduate degree in ART THERAPY at the NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS.
Also doing different courses for professional photographers such as musical photography in ESTUDIO URBANO.
Art for me is a way of life and photography is magic, it is having the right look at the right moment.
