Self-taught artist, composes with each brushstroke a plastic projection of her own identity; Janet, is a world-class exponent that has worked her conceptual proposal with multiple techniques and materials, to give life to a fascinating collection, dedicated to an innovative concept on self-portraits.
Since more than a decade ago, she began her professional career that she constantly renews and maintains in exponential growth; exhibiting her work in more than 70 countries, sharing forum with new exponents and participating in the most prestigious events of the medium at a national level.
That old man asked me: "If you could be a fruit, which one would you be, I answered that I would be an apple, because they are like us women, we are both sweet and beautiful, and we keep the seeds that will bloom tomorrow".
That was the question that awakened in Janet an intense inspiration to create works that reflect her perception of the emotional environment that surrounds her.
Her proposal presents us with a vast diversity of techniques and materials that represent an allegory to the circumstances that surround the protagonists of her works, the apples; apples in which she conceptualizes her own personality.
"In the apples I paint, I represent myself". Thus, each apple in her collection has a special meaning associated with the experiences that transcend in her life as a woman, mother, entrepreneur and artist.
