My name is María Celeste Mostacchi, but they call me Celu. That's the nickname I was given at home when I was a child, and that's how I signed my drawings and paintings from the beginning.
I am from the city of Quílmes, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My passion for art started when I was very young. I studied drawing and painting with different teachers since I was 10 years old until nowadays, and I am still training with national and foreign artists.
My work is mainly abstract, as it gives me more freedom of expression. I like to create from my emotions, without being attached to any particular aesthetic. To create art for me, is to play with materials, tools, and colours with total freedom and allow myself to "see what happens". I am a restless person, and so is my painting. In constant search and movement, my style is neither static nor permanent. It changes and grows along with me.
Enjoying the process more than the final result is the motto of my art.My name is María Celeste Mostacchi, but they call me Celu. That's the nickname I was given at home when I was a child, and that's how I signed my drawings and paintings from the beginning.
