Anna Canal Sala, born 8 April 1959 in Granollers (Barcelona).


In June 1981 she obtains a degree in Fine Arts and the title of Professor of Drawing and Painting, as well as the modules of Restoration, Design and Photography, at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Jorge in Barcelona.


Number one in her class, she was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture of Madrid, General Directorate of Artistic and Cultural Heritage, obtaining the Landscape Scholarship in Segovia with her first exhibition in the Torreón de Lozoya and various travelling exhibitions in Segovia, Guadalajara, Madrid and Ciudad Real.


From this point onwards he began his exhibition and painting career, as well as his teaching activity in his own Painting Academy.


Her artistic and creative work is composed of an expressive and vigorous palette full of strength that contrasts with the apparent fragility of the painter.


Nostalgic for the Mediterranean light, she establishes geographical connections through light and colour.
