Profile
I am a visual artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and an EU citizen of German descent. Since I was a child I have been living with a profound bilateral hypoacusis, something that has not prevented me from attending numerous ateliers.
The main characteristic of my work is spontaneity combined with a unique sensitivity born from a deep creative process. My brushstrokes express the mixture of an intense inner search and my lived experiences.
I work with oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, watercolors, inks and asphalt paint.
To achieve coarse, medium, and fine textures, I use gesso, sand, and other materials.
I also make works of encaustic painting using materials such as beeswax, vegetable wax, paraffin or Damar resin and to which I add powdered pigments of different origins. I also do collage and paintings in three dimensions.
Until now I have carried out innumerable individual and collective exhibitions at a national and international level.
Many of my works are in private collections, and were exhibited in different countries: Argentina, the United States, France, Italy, Spain and Uruguay.
I regularly participate in contests, in which I have won various mentions and prizes, and in charity work.
